Want to replace 605's
Hi all,
Long time no post!! Used to be regular here, so not a newbie!!!
I'm still running around in my classic shape MY00, and want to replace my infinity 605cs component speakers with something that has a little more grunt, I'm running a Genesis profile 4 BRIDGED so plenty of power on tap. I would like a speaker that will fit straight into the OEM holes, without packers and any messing around. My budget is around £200.
I do like the 605's but they are getting a little tired now, Infinity do the 65.7cs now the only problem here is that they are 2 ohm impedance, so can't run them off the bridged amp.

Have a look at the MTX range, they are very well received at the moment, Boston acoustics have a good range that you could well find some speakers in your price range. It would be worth trying to find somewhere that has speakers in stock and listen to them tbh
