Which Sat Nav?
A Garmin 2610 can be had for around £200 these days brand new. Put a 2gb card in and it will hold street level maps of the whole of Europe. Its a great bit of kit and when I bought mine about 18months ago it cost £500
You can't buy better... 5 out of 5*, Tom Tom only 4*

Most SatNavs are much of a muchness these days.
I've got a TomTom 710 which comes with major roads of Europe and you can download specific city/region maps of your final destination. Got me to Gothenburg and back no problem and hasn't lead me wrong yet. Plus you can use it as a handsfree via bluetooth.
