HEEELLLPPPP Please
Hi
Need some advice please
I have a 12" sub in a box in the boot linked to a 500w amp, today I was moving the sub and amp around to make a little more space and to secure on to an MDF floor, stupidly I allowed the red wire to touch the black wire and blue which I guess is the main power to the amp, after a little spark
I put the leads back on the amp and secured them, now my sub is not working or is that low you can hardly hear it
anyone know if I have buggered it or any suggestions to get it working again...
Please help Russ

there "SHOULD" be 2 fuses on your amps sourse power wire (if its firectly fed from your battery...)
there is one usually on the back/front panel of the amp... and the another under the bonnet.
usually in a black protective housing,
when you turn the stereo on does the light (standby/on) illuminate?

look at them up to a light if the link between the pins is broken (usually pretty obvious but can be hard to spot).. get down to halfrauds and buy a small pack usually about £1-2
also is there one under the bonnet by the battery?

Will have a look in the morning mate, would it be a seperate fuse or would it be in with the other fuses in the fuse box under the bonnet
no if the amp has direct feed the the wire will be obvious... it will be red and a pretty thick cable (and not far from the battery terminal say 1 foot).
so yeah check those 3 and you should be annoying the neighbours in no time!!
