Default JVC headunit stuck - help!

Hi,
I have a flipdown jvc headunit (DV620x)
. The front flips down, and you insert the cd into it.

I went to eject the cd, and it didn't eject it. tried the combo in the manual for force eject that didnt work, tried resetting unit that didnt work, thought maybe the cd was locked in with a combo, locked/unlocked - still didnt come out.

It seems the headunit is stuck in a cycle thinking it is ejecting a cd. It isn't actually doing it, but that is what stage it thinks it is in. ,So if you try and turn it off, it powers back on again etc etc.

Any tips? on what to do. I dont mind taking it apart, just dont know how to reset it, or manually put it back to where it thinks it has no cd in it..

Thanks
