Hi all, i have recently bought an alpine 9853 with the kca420i ipod interface.

The unit itself is great but i cannot access my playlists via the headunit. I can only access the first songs of each playlist, which, to say the least is flipping annoying. Any ideas?

Is there a firmware update or something that i am doing wrong?

Any help would be great.

Sorted.

Just in case anyone else has the same problem. I spoke to Alpine and the reason i couldnt search was that the "M.I.X" was turned on by default by Alpine, which inturn prevented the search facility working.

Ps very happy with the unit. Glidetouch bar takes a bit of getting used to.
