edead sound deadening
Has anyone used e-dead original or eliminator sound deadening?
I would like to use it for my classic wagon to help reduce exhaust noises.
Dynamat is really expensive compared to edead.
How many have used sound deadening which actually made a difference in reducing exhaust noise?
Thanks Ticky

I have done all my boot in it, not re-duced the exhaust much, but the subs sound louder, more responsive and clearer. Also my mirrors seem to vibrate more and the stereo seems to sound nicer from outside the car too!

I am not really into sound systems anymore (bass boxes) but if it helps reduce the exhaust noise some what then it may also improve the sound quality of my front speaker setup.
Which sound deadening did you use Criss. Did you do the rear wheel arches & inner wing area etc.
Thanks Ticky

I did the whole of my boot, took all the carpet out, anything that was accessable it got e-dead on it! Did the spare wheel well, boot lid and inside the frame of the boot lid. all arounf the arches(inside) and across the back of the car round the rear lights and all the floor. Got some cardboard and made templates of places in the boot where you could see it and cut carpet to size, bit of spray glue later and all done, looks nice, sounds nice!
You might wana get some behind your front speakers too, just a square of it right behind your speaker on the door, you can do the whole door, but watch out for moving parts and it can be a pain, also make sure you use a roller brush and a hair drier or heat gun, don't heat it up too much just enough so itgoes into corners and around edges easily
