Default Boot Install

Well I finally got round to building a very simple install and recovering my subs in a subaru grey carpet and this is the result.

Just waiting for my touchscreen to arrive next week, and install that so that I have sat nav and ecutek delta dash running to see what happening under the bonnet. Any way heres a couple of pics, still needs a little tidying but i will address this during the week

Out of interest - How are you gonna acheive this? direct port into the ECU? over using a PSI monitor?

Yes the touchscreen will be linked to a laptop, which will be directly connected to the ecu via the onboard diagnostic port under the steering wheel.

I have gone for this option as it worked out similar in price to buy the software and screen, instead of getting a psi monitor. By doing it this way I get more functionality as I have the options for sat nav/tv/dvd/mp3 etc via the laptop and graphically deltadash looks better.

Plus after seeing Craig Mudd's fantastic install, it had to be done.

Cheers

Paul

Thanks Paul about your comments, much appreciated

The install looks great.

How are you running your sound?? Via your laptop direct into your amp?

Keep us posted..

the laptop will conect to the aux in on my headunit, that should then play the sounds thru the amps. I believe that to be correct? Please inform if im wrong.

You obviously at JAE this year? Will come over and have a look your new install.
