Hi,

I have upgraded the front speakers in my 04 Wagon and now want to improve the sound further with another headunit. I'm after one that will also play MP3.

I've seen an Alpine CDA 9812RB at £189.99 and a Sony CDX DAB6650 at £149.99. I've had Alpine in the past and have always found them very good but the Sony has DAB radio which may be a bonus?

Has anyone any other suggestions with up to £200 budget?

hi mate would recommend any panasonic headunit within ur price bracket,actually took an alpine out to replace with panasonic in my car-not knocking alpines just they seem to lack overall balance and warmth just sound too sharp sometimes and lack smoothness always preferred panasonics would also recommend pioneers for sound quality would be between those 3 for me though,never been a fan of sony car audio.
