I've got some Cadence Ultra Shock speakers in the parel shelf of my classic (it's a P1 - not sure if WRX/4 doors have door speakers?).

I don't really know much about different speakers (apart from how to wire them up!), but I absolutely hate what I've got! Think they're drum and bass speakers, so really shrill, whereas I listen mostly to trance (ehem....) and need something with a bit more middle and bass - anyone know what the speakers are worth? - found an old reeipt for about £750 which included the speakers, head unit and an amp I think (all since long gone).

Wouls also apprecioate any recommendations for upgrades - but don't really want to use an amp.
