I would like to change my standard wrx speakers (front's only I think) for a decent set. What would you suggest?
Thanks again.
PS. I do not want a whopping thing in the boot to blast the whole street, just a quality louder sound.
Thanks.

Magic

If my memory serves me right you have the WRX300 with tinted rears?

I have a WRX300 and the first thing to go was the head unit and front speakers. I went to k & m Accoustics in Wigan and they shoe-horned a pair of 6inch CDT speakers in the front doors . They sound great but, I would advise you to have some Dynamat fitted - the hollow doors do give a bit of a boom to the bass that can be overpowering and the sound isn't balanced. That will be my next mod with some 5inch CDTs in the rear doors.

Just had some Infinity 6000CS's fitted to my 05 WRX. I probably paid a bit over the odds at £180 inc. fitting but am happy with the result. No visible alteration to the doors and they blow the standard jobs away bass-wise

cheers fellas!
Yes I do have a wrx 300. The headunit ent asap too as I had my Alpine sat nav head unit fitted and a single din cover put in. The speakers are a bit poor so I will change them. Thank you for your advice re the dynamat re the hollw doors. Is the DYNAMART thing something you discovered after your new speakers were fitted? or did you know about this beforehand?
The wrx 300 is really sweet and coming upto the 5000 mile mark. Love it big time.
