Default Double Din hole too small

I have purchased a Double Din DVD/MP3/CD/TV unit from Eneon in Hong Kong. I stripped the centre console and installed it and worked fine. However when I came to put the facia back the hole is slightly smaller than the unit. The standard subaru kenwood head unit has a recess around the front panel. I read something about ISO Double Din standards being different. Anybody got any suggestions

Smile Any luck?

Was wondering whether you had any luck fiiting the screen in the end. I am thinking of buying one of the screens on ebay at the moment, but am likely to face the same problem as you!!!

My Kenwood aftermarket headunit fits in the double din space fine so i'd say its the unit you just purchased thats the problem, you could try filling the surround until it fits

ps....just seen the date on the original post, suppose he got it sorted in the end

i got one of ebay ages ago, had to modify the edges a bit to allow the face to drop and slant etc. Just used a flat file and took a bit of either edge.

Thats what I did on mine.
The single din flip screen had no problems but the mp3/mp4 player was not sitting flush.
