My Kenwood Head Unit is about 3 years old now and the CD Text display is limited to two lines.

These are usually album-artist on the top and track on the bottom.

Unfortunately the Kenwood HU doesn't have enough display characters to display the full length of the info available on the screen at any one time so it will scroll the info.

I know the unit will scroll the CD text but this is for one pass only then it becomes static. Is there a unit out there that will display with permanently scrolling text or even better show all the ID3 info from a relevent codec such as .mp3 or .ogg

I'm sure my last 2 and current Kenwood have the option to set the text as scroll. This periodically scrolls the cd/radio/ipod text along.

mine scrolls only when the track changes or the volume is adjusted but not over and over which is what I am looking for. If there is a model out there that does this, then please let me know.

I notice that some of the very latest models display ID3 tag info, can anyone post a picture to show how this is displayed on screen?

In the menu options of the kenwood minidisc units I had, and the PSW9524, there was the option to "auto scroll". I think this'll do it... Could be wrong tho

Yes this is the model I have, and auto scroll is the option I already use, but it only scrolls the once then becomes static text.

Does anyone have a recent [last 12 months] head unit that displays ID3 info?
