Default Anyone use this head unit??

JVC: KD-AVX1

Is it any good?
Is the screen big enough?

Was looking at a larger screen (double din) but worried that you can't remove the front panels on them for security.

Any help apprciated.

Have a look on talkaudio, I think some people love 'em over there - particularly the giga mp3 capability (ability to play dvds with mp3 files written to them - heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuggge music collection on 1 disc )

In defence of double DINs:
1. looks like it's part of the car rather than a removable unit;
2. is actually physically bolted to the inside of the car rather than in a removable cradle;
3. fits so few other cars that it's less attractive to junkies who need a hit;
4. looks sooooo much better than a single when its on!
5. mine looks just like a black screen when it's off as the buttons are so minimal, so at a glance it looks as if it dioes have a removable panel.

Hope this helps.

Kenwood DDX 7025 is my baby.
