Unhappy Kenwood dpx-710md

Ok I have fitted the dpx-710md head unit into my scooby and it is working.

One small problem, I have linked it up to my 6 disc changer and it does not seem to register on my head unit. The changer has got power so the cable must be connected. Does anybody know if you have to turn it on in the units menu system as pressing source is not finding it?

Default

check next to the eject button on the changer, there should be a very small switch with 1 and 0 marked on it. Flick it accross from wherever it is and press reset on the head unit.

Default Switch not found?

I can not find the little switch.
I have got the KDC-C469 6 disc changer and it only has the eject button in that area.
I have taken the casing apart and they is no switch at all on this changer.
Can anybody tell me which model has got this selection switch?

Sorry I should have checked the model of your head ubit first. It is a Jap spec one so will not be compatible with UK stuff. you will need to source a Jap changer or a UK head unit.

This is the one you have isn't it??
