Heat - Pioneer Problem
My Pioneer cd headunit plays a disc for about 20 mins then comes up with HEAT on the screen, which according to the manual means its too hot obviously. Days like these recent hot ones dont help either as it seems to get to this stage even quicker. It then stops playing the cd until ive left the car a few hours and everythings cool again.
Iv searched the net but cant find an explanation to this ?
anyone have any ideas ? do these have small fans in them which could have packed up ?
thanks
Paul

If its not near anything thats making it extra hot then id take it back to supplier as theres deffo a problem!
just call pioneer direct, i have just changed to alpine from pioneer, always had pioneer top of range component units but this alpine component is awesome, you can really notice the difference.
never had those over heating probs with mine and i have had 4 pioneer units
