Question Ford 6000 RDS !!!!! 'help'

Hi
Does anyone know which coloured wires from the speaker block on the rear of the radio are for the rear left & right hand speakers.

I have tried several different ways of identifying them with another speaker, however there seems to be power from many, even with the fader & balance used to single out speakers.

Cheers
PNB

The reason for the question is to attain a certain amount of quality listening whilst driving around the country, and happy with the knowledge that weekends are for my Scoobeast...

If they use standard ISO colours it will be RR-purple, LR-Green. (RF-grey, LFwhite)

Thanks Garycat

Still struggling though, I'm concerned about blowing the unit up, so need to be clear.

Just trying to wire a 600 watt amp up via the speaker outputs on the radio

get 2 wires and a little battery stick the wires to the batt take out the block conector and put the wires in (ie the 2 purple ones) and see which speaker makes a poping noise if that makes sense

sussed it Stevey,

Now I have another question.

Where on earth is the best place to run a live supply through from the engine bay in a focus for the amp to run on ?

May be I can't see the wood for the trees....

Usually drill a hole from the inside in the passenger footwell, just judge where from the outsude first!, and use a grommet and silicone.

I've never had to drill a hole in a car yet... You should find a grommet that's large enough to take 4AWG without too much stress somewhere.
