for a grans u can get 2 tv`s in sunvisor as well ,

id forget the Rear parcel shelf Speaker`s ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and buy front components , best to go for is infinity`s or alpine , im runnin full alpine ,
head unit im running alpine , (sound quality better than sound quantity)
http://www.bassjunkies.com/index.php...ce=mancategory

decent enough 265 was 375 when i bought it ,

so 725 left , so you buy the Alpine compnents or infinity 100 squid , rough guide .....

625 left , now you run the alpine comp`s off head unit alone ,,,,,,,,,,, not best option people will say but i think they still sound superb ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

now buy a mono amp , alpine ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and a sub alpine if u want ................... ebay best bet 100 each so thats

425 left ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

now ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, www.tgincar.co.uk .... click sunvisor screens 8 inch ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 99 quid each , buy 2 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so now u got 225 left ,

but amp wiring kit ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

and a cheap dvd player for the glove box 100 nicker ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

(dont be put off with them screens lookin like they do they look tacky plastic but i got pictures of em in my car and they look ****in awesome ),

or a cheaper way is to buy the dvd mp3 player built in all in one instead of the alpine which is 279 plus the 200 u got u can get a decent built in dvd player head unit , lot more practical

http://www.bassjunkies.com/index.php...ce=subcategory

that was first 1 i came across that was decent .............. 279 sony ,,,,,,,,,,,

pratical issues is you now can play 10 gig of music off one disk !!!!!!!!!!!!!

(or forget the dvd keep the alpine head unit and buy an xbox for the kids)

so for a grand u got 2 tvs xbox which will also play dvd`s mp3`s , head unit amp comp speaker`s , 2 sub`s , and still got change , !!!!!!!!!!

and ur running full alpine

a decent sub , 105 nicker ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, , i only run 1 sub and it is good enough ,,,,,,,,
2 is the way forward if you want big big bass , but you need big big amp ,

look for the amp that suits you i always go for alpine , its like Gucci in my personal opinion , so if your gonna run 2 sub`s , get a good 2 channel amp with good RMS

What sort of sound are you after, and what music do you like?

How willing are you to lose some boot space?

Do you want video? Personally, I wouldn't bother...

let us know what you're aiming for, but you should get a nice setup for 1k. I'd seriously consider buying second hand from talkaudio.co.uk...

So, what music, are you willing to use second hand, and do you need it installing?

well things have changed a little. music wise rock/indie. ive binned the parcel shelf speakers. going for 12 inch sub mono amp. i could do with a bit of advice on quality comps for the front door. was thinking of focal v slim cause had the door off today and looks like the least hassle.....and they get good write ups any suggestions please. and another thing ................... the facia on my 03 is to small in width for a standard alpine HU. i know this is prob been covered 1000 times but all i can find info on is the forester pocket to solve double din size. what about the width??? am i to get the hacksaw out?
