Classic wagon install
Started a bit of a crazy project today seen as it's half term so i don't have to go to work
it all came about from my love for a pair of 6*9's that i've had for about 4 years.
in my old car (escort GTI) my set up consisted of a pair of kenwood components and kenwood coax's that were powered by my pioneer DEH-P77MP. This also then feed into a jenson amp and kenwood sub and a sony amp powering my favourite JBL P93's - the sound was awesome and set up just to my liking.
Anyway, since getting my wagon I have only managed to get the head unit, sub and amp and the components in. As a result there is a massive frequency gap in the sound that was previous filled in by my JBL's - all i have at the moment is a whole load of top and a truck load of bass.
So starts today -
I decided i needed to find a way of getting my JBL's in and the only way was to compensate for the lack of parcel shelf by building something, I also needed to be able to keep a certain degree of use of the boot and it had to be quickly removeable as i regularly flatten the seats to cart around a load of amps and guitars.
What i have created is the start of a monster! it is almost complete now but just needs wiring and covering and one more panel. I can't really describe it other than it's unique!
It's too dark for piccys now so i'll take some in the morning of my work in progress
