Hi all, Just put a set of kenwood dual mag components in the front and think they sound crap!!!! The stock speakers sounded better.
Any ideas as to why would be very greatful???

They are running of a new kenwood w7031 headunit,
Used oxygen free cable and sound deadened around the speakers???

 

Hmmm.. Not just me that's left a little uninspired then! I've just swapped my fronts for the infinity 6500cs's (running off a nice new Alpine HU), lots of dynamat, cabling, blood, sweat and swearing & after all that there is only small improvement on the standard speakers!!

hi guys to get the best sound out of these components, your best bet is to run them off a little amp. i know the stereo say they are powerful etc but theyr eally can't handle the task with these quality components. ive never run nothing on my headunits, always run components subs off amp. most pros do this. try it
