Default decent speakers for a portable ?
I might knock up a portable blaster for the garage using an MP3 compatable car stereo with batteries, cahrger and some car speakers - all chucked in an MDF box. Any suggestions for decent player and speakers ( cheap off ebay ) that will be happy in a box and not need an amp?

Why not just get a cheap portable stereo that runs on batteries???? You can get them that play MP3 as well.
