MY03 Standard HeadUnit ??
Does anyone know the make and model of the standard headunit installed in the MY03 STI UK?
I am looking at getting a connector for the ipod, that I will hopefully then be able to change it's configuration if I change headunits or car.

Thanks for the replies. Can anyone confirm the model number, surely someone must have one of these in their garage after swapping it for something more meaty???
Thanks in advance

I have presumably the same junk in my my05 wrx - it's a company car so I can't change much.
Any luck finding an iPod interface?
I've bought an FM modulator thing, and I'm currently looking to buy a 20gb mp3 player. If there's a decent iPod interface (i.e. one which uses the headunit's cd changer interface) then I'll get an iPod.
If I can't get a decent interface I'll get another player (I'll think different...)
(edit - I've emailed Dension)

i have an ice>link in my sti 2002 with the Kenwood unit above with a brodit mount holding it all neating in place to the left of the head unit.
the icelink just plugs into the cd changer port on the back of the head unit and gives me access to all my music whereever i am even though the sound is limited by the plasticcy speakers in the scoob
a link to it is: http://www.essentialipod.co.uk/product.php?xProd=44
ps - I am the owner of that website - i hope that is okay to post

If you want to run an iPod it well worth junking the ****e headunit and going fo one of the Alpine units that offers full iPod control.
I've just made the mod in my '04 Wagon and would definitely recommend it.
