Default Advice on ICE issue: MD vs CD autochanger

Hi all,

I have a Sony MDXC7900R mindisc player on my MY99. Problem is: I don't have a mindisc to my name....nor a MD recorder to put my tunes on! It does have a line in for a CD changer, but I'm just wondering whether it would be better to get myself a portable MD player (Apparently £120 for a good un') and record my fav tracks onto MD, or bite the bullet and trust someone to install a CD changer....not sure on the cost implications.

I wouldn't mind giving MD a go, does anyone have any experiences/advice they'd like to share? What is a good portable MD player/CD changer. I don't need anything too fancy, would prefer a good quality, simple, budget option.

Thanks and best wishes

I've got a MiniDisc in my car, as well as a mp3 player. I personally would say to get the changer, far less messing around. it's also finding the time to be bothered putting all your stuff onto MD, and the added cost of buying loads of blanks too.
