Infinity

I am thinking of getting a big sheet of perpex cut to cover the front of my sub box which houses 2 Infinity Perfect 12VQ subs (hopefully I will get the Infinty logo etched into it ). Would this 'deaden' the sound of my subs and how far off the box should it sit? Would drilling a heap of holes in it allow the subs to keep their 'original' sound?

depends how thick the perspex is, to thin, and it will rattle like a pig on a pogostick (?), to thick, and it will effect the sound. drilling holes will probably help though...
