What do you recommend ?
Ive recently taken delivery of my 1st Scooby. Its a MY99 Wagon. Stereo is very poor !!!! I would like a new head unit (willing to spend £150 -£200). I would rather not get a changer. Any good head units that take multiple CD's. What about MP3 head units. How do they work ? Any Good ?
Would also like to replace the speakers with better but still standard fit ones. Again any recommendations would be appreciated. Would spend about £100ish. I wont be fitting an amp.
Whats the best place to buy online ?
Lastly......If anyone is selling any approriate second hand bits...then let me know. Must be good condition !!!

It's worth having a look around the internet stores before buying.
Check out the Clarion 648RMP on MCS-Direct.
I asked my local ICE specialist to match internet prices on a head-unit about a year or so ago, which they wouldn't do. Though I got £60 ish off the price and they included fitting.
MP3 is good but it is less painfull if you're already "in the game" so to speak. Otherwise, you've still to rip your CDs to MP3s, burn them to CD-R or CD-RW before you can listen to them in the car.

the alpine/kenwoods are some of the better ones for output if you are going to power the speakers from the HU, they're a better build quality too. CEL direct are a good bunch and near enough the cheapest too. They'll also price match if they're not!!
