Default Help - Standard Stereo

My CD player skips all over the place, doesn't even need a bump in the road to do, does it when the car's standing still!

It's the standard stereo in a MY01 WRX.

Are the units just crap or does it need a good clean. Any suggestions for CD cleaners?

Change it for a cheap MP3 playing head unit, sell the original on ebay and you should get most of your money back.

Out of curiosity, is it easy to change these stereos?? I mean, they are a lot bigger than any normal stereo, do u have to get a "holder" or something to go below the normal sized stereo? rather hard to explain what the hell Im goin on about!! LOL

You need to get a trinket tray Autoleads do them

It takes about 10 minuets to change the stereo in them

Have a look at :-
