Default alpine help...

i have an alpine MDA-7755R head unit and CHA-S634 changer..

two things..

1. the MD head unit is displaying error when you insert an MD, think the laser is mis-alligned, can anyone reccomend someone to repair it in the midlands, (nottingham/mansfield area)

2. no matter what CD is in the changer, it never displays the text.. i take it a genuine copy of a new CD would have text ?? any ideas how to set it up to display the text.. ??

thanks, alex..

Hi

For repair, why not take it to an Alpine dealer?

The changer does not lookup titles, you need to enter a title into the head unit which it will then remember for the future. Reading the manual might help.

i have read the manual.. it does read titles of tracks, as i can make a data burnt cd display titles, just not genuine music cd's..

didn't really want to be without my headunit for weeks sending it to alpine.. would prefer to get it done locally within a couple of days..

thanks anyhoo..
