WMA and MP3 ICE recommendations ?
I have an alpine MP3 capable player in my scoob - I want to put something half decent in my merc - must play WMA's and MP3's I need a powerful output as I don't want to put in extra amp/subs etc - just running standard speakers at the moment - but they will be upgraded later..

Pretty much any new CD player these days will be 4 x 50 watts, a good high-power output. Some or all Clarions are rated at 4 x 52 watts, while Panasonic (yuk) and Alpine (mmm, nice) have models that chuck out 4 x 60 watts.
My choice would be a 4 x 50w Pioneer MP3500 CD/MP3 player at around £130 on the 'net or a 4 x 60w Alpine if you have more than £200 to spend.
