reason swapped ... head unit flap caught on top of fasia by cup-holder.
blaupunkt stuff is crap at fixing points ... only 1 point on each ... you have to use "elephant tape" at the back to hold them to the braces.
- mark.

Aaah, I know that feeling (the cupholder thing!) !!!!
My head unit is moving to the top of the dash, but on the other hand the cupholder is disappearing completely...
Cheers,
Nick.

Whats the reception on DAB like with the ariel fitted on the rear?
I fitted my ariel to the front screen, after advice from various people. (Poor reception due to heated screen???)
However, i had to change the passenger wiper blade as it foulded the ariel
I went for the cheep option Woodstock DAB 52 and dash pocket.

quality would be excellent if the f**king ariel hadn't fallen off yesterday at 80mph !!!!
fortunately i have a picnic table on the back that caught it.
that's the second one that's disengaged.
... seriously .. it's good and it seems to work very well een without the external bit funnily enough.
