I have just brought a second hand roof mount screen, (Fusion FAV133) and seem to have problems with it in that if basically dont work

If I put a 12v power source into it, the the screen remains blank, nothing happens etc, I have traced the power through, and know that there is 12v going into the control box and then into the screen, but the screen doesnt power up at all

Anyone got any ideas ??

what power wires you got going into the screen??

standard 12v positive and ground, it has a remote socket as well, i have tried this with a live, and also left it alone, i was told that it doesnt need the remote to run
