Chap I know works at Sextons in Maidstone. I asked him the same question when I was looking at that one, the MP80 and the 1000tf.

He said the 850 was pretty lame and the deck wasn't much cop (and when I saw it in halfords it looked really tacky) and he'd go with the MP80 any day of the week, the 1000tf being awkward to use.

I got the MP80 and love it - superb little unit Got it for 290 quid, well worth the extra IMHO.
