Roof aerial needs supply and earth???

Hi Guy's
I have fitted a new UK head unit to my 94 wrx wagon. I cut the plug off and wirered everything to my JVC Plug. Everything works after working out what speaker wires do what, the problem I have is I have no reception now. So I guess the aerial need a live feed and possibly an earth also. Does anyone have the colour codes for the wires that come from the roof mounted bee-sting aerial.
