is the wiring wrong on the iso connector

i swapped the permanent and memeory 12v leads round on the iso connector and the sony i am putting in does not work at all. Could someone tell me which wire is the permanent live feed and the memory wire on the wiring of a 2001 impreza wrx. thanks.

You need a permanent live and a switched live from the ignition. Both are supplied from the Subaru wiring loom, but I also ran a live from the battery just in case.
If you check with a multi-meter, on the connection that goes into the Sony, I guess you have only the permanent live connected. Check all connections with the ignition on and off, there should be 2 live feeds with the ignition on.
