Would that be a touch screen mounted where the double DIN slot is, with the radio being housed in a gauge pod......?

I'd love to see the pics...

you git!!!!!!!!!!

U know I've got to relocate the head unit before I can get the screen in! Now, do I lose the vents or go for top of dash mounting. I'm moving more towards losing the vents again... Hmm. Might have a play tonight

I'm surprised you've not mentioned the amp cooling, or boot trimming, or amp rack replacement, or ...

Git!

Cheers,
Nick.

There's software already around to do that

The software is basically glue, with a database of files rather than just a directory approach. Gives more flexibility...

But it needs writing

Am tempted to put head unit in glovebox for ease of getting started now, but I need to write s/w. Don't really like Media engine, but it would do.

go on then find a link to some software that senses the ign has turned off.. stops / pauses music then puts monitor into sleep mode and then shuts down gracefully..

Nick, stick the headunit in the air vents. That's where I put my gauges on my MY00 when I fitted them. Sent you pics yonks ago to show you and/or to stick on your website but they never appeared Haven't got the car anymore and don't think I have any pics stored anywhere

Never missed the use of the vents at all

Cheers anton, it was most appreciated

Just got back from the hospital...

I have a son - and not a small lad either. 10lb 11oz

Couldn't be happier. But this rather means I may be quite busy over the coming weeks/months/years

Cheers,
Nick.
PS - will measure screen when I get a spare moment
