Speakers - recommendation for '99 model?

Hey guys

Any current model recommenmdationbs for front speakers for '99 impreza?
Also, does everyone use standard speaker cable or replace?
What current amp and location?

all comes down to your budget - I like Focal Polyglass for £220 for 6.5" front components

Are the Infinity 605cs components not still available? They are great and the woofers are a straight switch for the original rubbish. On an MY99 you'll have the tweeter cover next to the dorr handle - you just need to mount them behind this. The crossover can be stuck somewhere in the door.

focal = accurate and clear, like to be driven hard and loud - B&W use these in their home stereo speakers
