Wink

Have you seen them Hammer amps, you could seriously damage your car and your hearing with these beast's.

4000watt into 1 ohm where are you going to get speakers from for that kind of power????

You won't find better than that McIntosh, but buyer beware: dodgy description, and new seller with zero feedback would mean that I wouldn't bid on it.

McIntosh make great amps for sure - BUT - I am not sure if there is any infrastructure here to support them. Clarion used to be the distributors, but they never sold it in a pro-active way, and I heard a rumour (you can check with Clarion) that Clarion have outsourced servicing to a third party company. If this is the case, any service/repair would most likely not be possible. Also, if the amp was a model not sold in Europe, parts would be almost impossible to source.

In any case, check that all the parts are there if you are going to buy, and confirm with Clarion that it is servicable - Thats my advice.

It could be serviced. My old Soundstream amps and nakamichi stuff goes to the guys Sounstream use. "Bass Station" or something.

Its still one hell of a amp!!
