Enclosing a sub in perspex
#1
I saw this picture of a sub behind perspex and it got me thinking........ how does that work ?
I'm putting some subs into a Jeep Wrangler, which is a convertible and the 'boot' area behind the rear seat is open. It would be ideal if I could cover the subs in perspex - for both security and also in case it rains and I get caught out.
So would it work ? and if so are there any problems ?

To do this you need a bandpass enclosure - where, basically the sub in a sealed enclosure, fires into a second enclosure which is ported.
No reason why you can't do it - you just need the right box/subwoofer combo.
