Stereo upgrade suggestions

i take delivery of my new impreza in 2 weeks and i am planning to change the stereo and speaker as my first job i have a kenwood mask and 10 disc changer from my old car, and will be buying new speakers and require some suggestions for the new speakers or the installation of the system ie. cd changer location etc.
