I have some Boston Acoustic speakers tucked away that I thought I could use, but I can do them justice!!
They are 5.25" component speakers. The main cone is 5.25" and the tweeters are 1.5" with a passive crossover. These speakers have incredible bass and put my old 6.5" Kenwoods to shame!!
These speakers cost £250 new (back in 1999)!!!
They are still boxed with all the speakers and the crossovers. The only problem is that one of wires comeing from the tweeter has been torn, so instead of being however many feet long, it's about 4"!! Although it would be very easy to rewire them!
If you want decent speakers for the price for some cheap ones (Alpine, Kenwood, etc), I'm selling these for £100!!! (And I'll even throw in postage!!!)
Email me if you are interested.

I think the Subaru's have 6.5" holes, so some sort of spacer would need to be made up!!
That said I think for the money, nothing will come close! I'm still in two minds to keep them!!

Forgot to say I have some new *cough* Vauxhall spacers in the garage that I know will convert the 6.5" hole to a 5.25" hole, as well as give a little more depth for bigger magnets!
Cost me £15, buy them off me for a tenner!
