Just been quoted £424 to fit a Blaupunkt Woodstock (already bought), front and rear speakers, DAB aerial and adaptor leads to an STI8. Does this sound about right?

I'd do it myself only I don't have time!!!

Sounds very high. I'd expect the headunit to be included for that price.

I'd reckon on an hour max to fit headunit, 1.5 for fronts, 1 for rear, and 1 for aerial, and that's being pessimistic!

4.5 hours labour, even at 40 quid/hour, is less than 200 quid. I think you're being royally ripped off.

No hang on!! The labour quote is £140
I've already got the head unit (£200 bargain)
They are quoting £51 + VAT for front speakers and the same for rears and I have no idea what sort they are.
The DAB aerial is £102
The Blaupunkt adaptor lead is £17 and abot £20 for the pocket to fill in the void in the dash.

The whole lot (excluding head unit) - £420ish
