I was hoping to connect the audio output from my pocket pc headphone socket to my standard wrx my02 CD/cas player.
why you may ask... ?
so that I can receive audio warning from my ppc satnav and trafcam system through the internal car speakers as my pocket pc speaker does'nt have the power to deffon a fly.
Unsure if my standard system has a AUX in, Is it feasable, how easy ??, Is there anything I should know before hand ??.
?
Thanks in Advance..

To hear the audio from your PDA, you'll need to have the HU switched to aux/CD *all the time*.
How about lashing something up using a cellular mute harness to generate audio interrupt?

Lee has a very good point...
You would need your head unit set to AUX to hear your PDA through it, which isn't ideal.
You could mute your head unit using the tel-mute connector on the back. Connect this to ground and the unit shuts up, allowing you to hear the PDA...
