Need a little help please with my03 sti8

Upgraded to the pioneer stereo, seems fine, Sony 17s in the front but only 10s in the rear doors, the opening in the rear is 110mm,
tried the fronts in the rear but wont fit.will 13s be ok ? Anyone any ideas what the best option would be, dont want a mega sound system, just something that dont distort like f@!K at a reasonably load volume.
Dont seem to be alot of space on rear parcel shelf, can i fit them under it without cutting a hole for the speaker ?
