Would app. some advice.
I have a `92 Legacy Turbo and have just inherited some ICE which I would like to install but am new to all this.

Pioneer DVH-P7000R DVD Tuner Head Unit
Pioneer DEQ-P7000 Digital Processor 5.1
Pioneer CDX-P1270 12 disc CD changer

Then Video output to rear setup:

Pioneer CD-VS33 Audio Video Selector
to split the video three ways to be sent to three individual LCD`s
as well as handle a gaming input from a Playstation.

I would like some on advice on the following:

1/Suggested way to go with the speaker set-up in the car.Don't need max. power just good multimedia sound and decent audio.

2/I was thinking of installing 2 x Roof-mounted monitors rather than 2 x head-rest monitors. Any reason why not?

3/Finally, I would like any recommendations if you know anyone who may be interested in helping (paid, of course) with some parts of the install.(mainly power supplying, the rest I think can manage)based in the East Mids.I'm situated S. Derbys.

Thanks for your patience. Be gentle with me

BTW only brought the Subaru for my wife to run the kids around but I can`t stop driving it.I`m hooked.Looking for a fairly new Outback or Legacy at the end of year.

you've got some good kit there, just need to do it justice with decent speakers, bit of bass and a good amp to power it all. The problem with multimedia - ie dvds - is that the sound is so varied in volume, you have to play it louder than normal cd so you'll realy need a good amp for this.

funnily enough, I'm selling my 4 channel Phoenix Gold that would do very nicely to power the fronts and rears, or fronts and sub. Its a quality (cmpetition grade) amp with loads of control and dynamics. I use this at the moment with focals in the front, jl sub fed by my clarion dvd head unit - very good sq.

Si.t.

Thanx for the advice.Think I've seen your amp in another thread. Were you looking for 350ish?I'm sure this is a good price for a serious piece of kit,but it might be beyond my budget at the moment.Cheers

well, i'l settle for less than that, looking for 280 ono mate - what can you do? Seriously, you will strugle to find an amp as versatile and powerful with the same quality for anything near the price.
