I went to my local ICE experts the other day. Recommended kit includes...
...lots of dynomat for the doors, shelf and bootlid.
...JL-Audio VR600CSi component fronts
...JL-Audio TR600CX co-axial rears
...Genesis Profile 4 amp.
...Good quality RCA leads and associated gubbins.
I'm generally happy with the cost of all of the bits (after spending a hour or so trying to get pricematch figures on the net...)
Only foible is whether the 600CSi's will fit in the front of a P1.
I want a stealth install so it's no good if the speakers won't fit behind the trim.
Vindaloo.

Can't argue with that, really. The components should fit as the doors of the P1 are pretty deep comparatively speaking.
If push comes to shove, you can use the original pods with 12mm of MDF on front and still get the door cards back on - or at least I did in an MY00, which is pretty much the same as the P1 IIRC.
