Make sure you get a nice tasty amp to power your sub of choice aswell. I have a JL 12" DVC Sub ... blown one , on my second now and they are great .. can take some hammering.

Probably going to move onto Diamond or Focal When i get my Impreza .. ... with some tasty genesis amps

are the alpine v12 series amps any good for powering these kind of subs so that i can push them to the limit? i know they look great but i also want great performance with it.

I got a pair of 12 inch kickers in the boot of me golf , driven by a Rockport amp , they can wake the dead , quality , low thump right in the sweet spot ..

the V12's are good but its best getting a power cap if you're running a V12 as they work at optimum with a good steady supply of power

Had M510's - which I gave away

The M512's retail at about £289 each

They are not the best I've heard but good for the price. The best I've heard are DLS

The worst I've heard by a long way are JL Audio - pants
