Hi all Ive just purchased a lcd screen head unit made by alpine and id estimate to be 4-5 yrs old,the control box and instructions say it will control ai net equipment,question is can i make it control my year old autochanger as the connections look totally diferent? is there an adaptor to do this?

What's the model number on your autochanger and can you describe the connections on each device?

I presume your autochanger is also Alpine??

Have you got the CD/Minidisc jobbie.?

I've just fitted a brand new alpine cda7893r cd/mp3 head unit and it controls my 5 year old (at least ) Ai net changer no problem (changer was in car when imported from japan) it works perfectly so you should be ok as long as the changer states it is Ai net on the casing
