Question

Changed from standard Philips set to Kenwood Cd multichanger but kept standard speakers. Is it really worth upgrading the speakers. Is the sound noticably better. Advice gratefully received.

Cheers

Chip.

Thumbs up

Absolutely, yes!

Concentrate on the front speakers at first. Do you have a budget in mind?

Cheers,

A.

I have a 94 WRX with Kenwood head unit/changer and standard speakers also.

I would not question that new speakers will improve sound quality but the real question is - will you hear it ?

If you are intending to fit an induction kit and/or "rorty" exhaust then I guess that you could argue that you are going to get less benefit of the upgrade....

Just a thought!

Thanks

Gavin
