I have a 96 WRX STi. The car has an AddZest (Clarion) radio cassette currently fitted. This is the unit it was imported with. I am trying to fit a Kenwood radio cassette with CD changer. I have managed to overcome the wiring issues with ISO blocks and all sorts. However, when I tried to put the Kenwood unit in situ the fascia panel gets in the way and the unit won't sit flush and the trim won't go back into place.
The AddZest fascia is the same dimensions as the metal body of the unit, the Kenwood fascia overhangs the metal body of the unit.
Am I missing something here?
Some advice would be appreciated!

Steve,

You should be able to remove the 'collar' around face of the stereo. It should then just drop straight in!! I think it's the newer models with the removable collar. I know my MD MASK Kenwood, can do it!

Good luck
Andy
