Hi folks
Has anyone got the sony removal tool for a Sony MD-6000 or something like that (Chrome has the model number). Looks like a key that goes down the side rather than something that pushes into the front like my sony unit... A supplier fitted the unit for him in his old car a while ago, and we couldn't get it out yesterday - they didn't give him the removal tools. Grrrr!
Also, I broke the connector on a rear deck speaker for the saloon. Anyone got one that they don't need?
Cheers,
Nick.

MDX C6500R - (Mini -disc tuner)
if anyone can help I'd well grateful
I *need* my choons..
Also; anyone recommend a full rear and front speaker setup that wont break the bank (Nick has had a good crack at it already ) and will be easy to fit but still sound GOOD. (not boomy)

Bollocks, forgot my pictures.
The head unit i have has no key supplied, but it is easy to remove.
Do you have pictures of what it looks like with the head unit surround removed? are there two metal pieces about 1cm in length sticking out at either side of the head unit when the cover is removed?

Chrome,
Plug it in, and you're away
I left you an ISO adaptor in the scoob (ain't I just the generous one ) so you just need to plug that in and you'll have sounds. Oh, and plug the aerial in too.
I was passing again today, you should have called if you wanted a hand. Will be around next Thursday again...
Cheers,
Nick.

out again, fish around for aerial and ?
where the **** is it?
the rca style silver plug I found doesnt look like the aerial..
and to top it off now there doesnt appear to be any power to the head unit even tho its connected.. feckin thing grr...
will attempt it again in daylight tomorrow..

It's there - it's a thick black cable that isn't nearly as flexible as the other wiring. It comes from the right hand side as you look at the dash - it could potentially fall down by the carpet in the driver's side. Should be easy to find.
