This Alpine.. isnt it one of those Philips DAP 600/900 amps from a few years back??. Remember they where realy good for the money.

Now theres a blast from the past - DAP900. I bought mine in 1992 (i think )!!!

Still got mine driving the front 6.5's and tweeters. Phoenix Gold on the subs.

Its a very good amp. I would want to keep it !!!

 

Amp is provisionally sold.
My local installer told me not sell it but have upgraded to Phoenix Gold XS2500 2ch 575w RMS (Top Amp!) powering new fnq Rockford components. Sounds awesome.
Its a shame to see Alpine not really producing quality amps at the moment.

make sure u wrap it well dude, dont want it being damaged by those butchers called postmen!!!!

do it recorded or special delivery at least that way there a way of tracking it and its insured

 

i used to run my 10" cerwin vega and 6x9's off of dap600, it handled so well, quality build as u said, y not anymore?

I think you need spacers for the size of them. Dunno, I havent checked yet. You out there chiark? Could do with borrowing some of your wisdom!!!! What size mdf should I use?

Post updated to add my out of use Alpine 2 Channel Amp 35 x 2 RMS
