Where's the best place in the MY03 boot and should it be flat or upright? So far seems to best opposite side of petrol filler but not sure if it should be near seat back or front of boot?

First ICE install hence the different posts over the last couple of days BUT I will succeed!

In the boot is OK, and anywhere should be OK in the boot. Try to get the changer away from the suspension as, in my experience, that can cause skips...

 

I know for the 02 WRX they do a fitting kit, it's a little expensive and i don't know whats in it but i'm sure a chat with your friendly dealer might shed some light.

mines bolted to the bottom of the wooden cover, so suspended in the space saver well. works a treat...
